Founded by Daniel Di Sotto & Alex Abela, SASH is a modern, evidence-based, multi-disciplinary clinic that utilises an effective combination of manual, movement, exercise and educational based treatment strategies.

Dr Daniel Di Sotto
Director & Chiropractor

Daniel graduated from from the University of South Australia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Human movement and health science degree majoring in Exercise Science. Daniel has always been drawn toward human movement and bodily function, he began his career working for an elite AFL club in South Australia, until furthering his education, graduating from Macquarie University, Sydney, in 2014 with a Masters of Chiropractic.

Daniel is comprehensive and holistic in his focus to provide healthcare tailored to the individual. His treatment strategies include spinal and extremity adjusting, soft tissue techniques, functional assessments, exercise rehabilitation and taping.
Daniel values working within a team of health professionals to maximise an individual’s recovery and wellbeing. Daniel’s passion rests on assisting anyone who wants to become a better version of themselves. Each and every story is unique, with a goal to create a positive change in in someone’s life.

Alex Abela
Director & Physiotherapist

Alex graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of physiotherapy. As one of the founders of SASH, Alex is passionate about providing individualised care within a multidisciplinary team. “The focus should be on treating the person not just the injury”. Alex believes in the benefits of movement, “the more we move the better we can feel, movement can aid the healing process”.

Alex also has a passion for sports physiotherapy. Working hard to ensure all individuals are achieving their sporting/activity goals. Injury prevention along with injury rehabilitation.

Alex is focused on patient centred care, he will spend the time assessing, diagnosing and treating in line with each persons individual goals. Using a mix of manual and soft tissue techniques, teamed with education and exercise prescription. Alex strives to ensure you leave your physiotherapy appointment fully understanding your condition and what is required to overcome it.

Dr Gabriel (Gabe) Guiuan
Chiropractor

Gabe holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from the Philippines and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. He has over ten years of experience in the health and fitness industry, working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in both the Philippines and Australia. He remains active in the fitness industry alongside his Chiropractic role.
Gabe integrates manual therapy with exercise-based rehabilitation through a movement-centred approach. His treatment strategies include spinal and peripheral joint adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, functional movement assessments and individualised rehabilitation exercises. He aims to help people move with confidence, reduce pain and restore performance.
He thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings and is committed to truly individualised care that supports each person’s goals.

Dr Canh Ly
Chiropractor

Canh joins the SASH team with a broad background in evidence-informed movement-based care. Originally from Canada, he completed his chiropractic training at Macquarie University before practising for five years in Mt Gambier, and has now permanently relocated to Adelaide.
​
Canh’s approach to chiropractic is grounded in the belief that movement is medicine. He provides individualised assessment and treatment that is practical and tailored to each person’s goals — whether that’s reducing pain from everyday activities, improving function after injury, or optimising performance for sport and endurance pursuits.
​
Canh brings a blend of sporting and rural clinical experience, combining hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation to support sustainable movement improvements and long-term positive outcomes.
​
Outside the clinic, Canh is passionate about endurance sport. He’s a Sydney Marathon finisher, currently training for his first Ironman, and enjoys running, hiking, swimming and camping with his German Shepherd, Frank.

Ellen Phillips
Remedial Massage Therapist
Ellen is a Remedial Massage Therapist who is passionate about helping people improve their movement, manage pain, and recover effectively. She works with individuals from all backgrounds to address everyday aches, muscle tension and mobility challenges, with a strong interest in working with athletes and sports teams to support injury prevention, performance, and post-activity recovery.

Her approach is practical and client focused. Ellen listens closely to understand each person’s concerns, then uses techniques to suit specific goals and needs of the individual.
